Hi All!
I hope your week is going well. Here’s your weekly On-Track advice, a list of tips and tricks to keep you on track with your goals in life and business.
1. “One day at a time is the secret to building momentum.” — Unknown
Do your goals feel out of reach? Does it feel like the distance between where you are right now and where you want to be is enormous? You’re not alone. It can be overwhelming when you realize how much work you still have left to do.
If you’re looking to feel better about your situation, I encourage you to take small steps. When you focus on putting in tiny efforts you will build momentum over time, and before you know it, your goals will be within reach. All you need to do is to put your head down and put in consistent work.
2. “Sometimes it’s the smallest decisions that can change your life forever.” — Keri Russell
All the milestones that you’ve reached in your life stem from the same roots: a decision. You received your first pay check because you decided to apply for a job. You passed your road test because you decided that you wanted to get your driver’s license.
Every decision you make, no matter how big or small, will affect the way your life unfolds. What’s something that you’ve been wanting to accomplish for the longest time? What decision can you take right now to change your life trajectory?
3. “Becoming a lifelong learner is all about changing your mindset. You have to develop a genuine curiosity about new subjects that can enrich your life and business.” — Mike van der Poel
This week’s blog is titled, “Continuous Learning is the Key to Entrepreneurial Success“. It explains how you can become a lifelong learner, and how you can take your business to the next level if you take on one study project after the other.
One of the things I discuss is how you can rewire your mindset to enjoy learning new things. Many people associate learning with sifting through dry textbooks and memorizing irrelevant information in high school. It doesn’t have to be boring, though. It’s possible to turn something you viewed as boring into something exciting.
Until next week,
Mike van der Poel
