Hi All!
I hope you’re having a great week so far. As always, here’s your weekly On-Track advice, a list of tips and tricks to keep you on track with your goals in life and business.
1. “To live with courage is to believe in yourself, to go on regardless, to love regardless, and to start over every time.” ― Naide P Obiang
When life doesn’t go as planned and you want to throw in the towel, take a step back from the situation and remind yourself that success doesn’t come without hardship. You must fight through tiredness, ignore the critics, and continue on your path regardless of how hard you perceive things to be. That’s what true courage is all about.
2. Talk to someone about themselves and they’ll listen for hours.” ― Dale Carnegie
One of the easiest ways to motivate a loved one, colleague, or friend is to talk about their life. Try to understand what matters to them and what sparks their joy, and then talk about it in depth. This will not just elevate their mood, but it will also fill them with confidence.
3. “Urgency means paying the details the attention they deserve, with the respect they deserve, without delay.” ― Richie Norton
Having a strong sense of urgency is all about accomplishing something within a certain timeframe and to the best of your ability. It could be about a goal you’re trying to achieve in your personal life, or a task you’ve been meaning to knock off your to-do list in your business.
If you’ve been struggling to establish a sense of urgency and feel like you struggle with motivation, I suggest you read this weeks article, “How Do You Develop a True Sense of Urgency in Life and Business?”
Until next week,
Mike van der Poel
