Hi All!
Happy New Year! 🍾 With only a few hours left in 2021, it’s a good time to reflect on the past year and to consider the goals you’d like to achieve in 2022.
But before we do that, I wanted to share a brief message of thanks with you. Thanks a million to everyone who has supported MikevanderPoel.com over the last year.
Since the launch in April of 2021, I’ve been fortunate to have published 79 pieces of content and more than 70,500 words on the website. And with a traffic increase of 988% over the last month, I’m beyond grateful to see that my message is starting to resonate with people. It’s been a wild ride and I couldn’t have done it without your help.
1. “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” — Tony Robbins
What’s something that you’d like to work on in the upcoming year? If you’re looking to start the new year on a high note, I suggest you get yourself a copy of Tony Robbins’ book, “Awaken the Giant Within : How to Take Immediate Control of Your Mental, Emotional, Physical and Financial Destiny“. It helped me make some much-needed changes to my life, and I am confident it can do the same for you.
2. “Your current situation is giving you an opportunity to re-evaluate what you want.” — Unknown
Take a brief moment to look at your current situation and reflect on what you’d like to have. Perhaps you want to get a new job, launch a business, or start a family. I know it might sound cliché, but you can have anything you put your mind to. You just have to decide what you want and do everything it takes to get it.
3. “Your mind is your most important asset. It’s where you make decisions, implement change, and let go of the past.” — Mike van der Poel
The last blog post of the year is called, “5 Powerful Ways That Entrepreneurs Boost Their Energy Levels“, and explains how you can feel better both physically and mentally. One area of our health that is often overlooked is our mental health. Far too many entrepreneurs don’t take the time to better their situation (I’ve been there myself, so I understand that it’s not easy). One of the best ways to get started is through a simple 10-minute meditation. You can learn more about that here.
Until next week,
Mike van der Poel
