Hi All!
I hope you’re having a great week so far. As always, here are your weekly tips and tricks to keep you on track with your goals in life and business.
1. “It’s a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack.” ― Germany Kent
Take a moment to appreciate all the good things that are in your life right now. Make a list of at least 3 items: Perhaps there’s a special someone in your life, an achievement that you accomplished, or an event that unfolded in your favour. When you search for positivity in your surroundings, you begin to look at life through a lens of optimism and gain a perspective that makes you forget all that you lack.
2. “Whenever I am in a difficult situation where there seems to be no way out, I think about all the times I have been in such situations and say to myself, “I did it before, so I can do it again.” ― Idowu Koyenikan
Besides making a list of all that you’re grateful for, I encourage you to write down some of the biggest personal challenges you’ve overcome in your life. Write them down on a blank sheet of paper. Keep that sheet in a safe place.
In difficult situations, we often forget that we’ve faced similar, if not more challenging situations in the past (And we often handle them very well). A written account of past hardships is a reminder of what you’re capable of.
3. “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” ― James Clear
This week’s article is titled, “Want to Be Full With Energy Again? Try Being More Consistent with Your Diet”. It is, as the title suggests, all about how you can improve your diet to feel more energetic. One of the things I discuss is the concept of consistency. Having more energy is a matter of implementing systems so that you can repeat good behaviors consistently and on autopilot.
Until next week,
