Realizing that you’re repeating the same boring course of action every day is an invitation to self-improvement. The moment you understand that you’re unhappy with your current way of doing things, you’re gifted with an opportunity to make a change. It takes just one decision to learn something new or take on a new skill.
2. “The optimist is a pessimist with a plan” ― Bangambiki Habyarimana
Feelings of pessimism arise when we think we’re unable to act effectively. It’s easy to see the worst aspect of a situation when we see no way out. The key to defeating pessimism is therefore a simple one: Make a plan and take action.
3. “Many people think they have to deal with whatever mood they’re in. The truth is, you can change your state of mind at any time.” ― Tony Robbins
Have you ever listened to a song that changed the way you feel almost instantaneously? The last time that happened, you changed your state of mind. If you ever feel sad, unhappy, or pessimistic, try elevating your mood by changing your state: Leave your current environment, listen to music, or execise (These methods are also incredibly effective if you suffer from brain mush).
