Hi All!
Hope you’re doing well. As always, here’s your weekly On-Track advice, a list of tips & tricks to keep you on track with your goals in life and business.
1. “Create a vision for the life you really want and then work relentlessly towards making it a reality.” ― Roy T. Bennett
Someone with a strong vision for the future will cross the finish line after years of determined, hard work. Any bestselling author will tell you that, besides having a vivid imagination for the characters, plot, and setting of the story, you must also write often and routinely. Large-scale success boils down to two things: focus and hard work.
2. “Knowing too much of your future is never a good thing.” ― Rick Riordan
If you only think about how great your life will be while also being disappointed with your current life, then you risk manifesting a life where you’re unhappy in the present moment. Commit to creating a good future for yourself, but don’t forget to find happiness in what you currently have.
3. “Being fully present is about being conscious of the moment and free from the noise of internal dialogue.” ― Mike van der Poel
When you sit in silence with your thoughts and observe them running wild, it’s easy to think that there’s something wrong with you. Your mind might jump from something that hasn’t even happened yet, to something embarrassing you did years ago. If this is something you struggle with, then I invite you to practice this 5-minute mindfulness exercise.
Until next week,
Mike van der Poel
P.S. Stay calm …
